Meet The Partners

Dr Andrew Chadban

Dr Andrew Chadban was born in Wollongong and graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986. He first practiced in Picton, NSW then practiced part-time for Jones Dental before taking over from Austin Jones upon his retirement in 1998.

He is proud to have raised his three children in Wollongong.

Dr Greig Allan

Dr. Greig Allan, a University of Dundee graduate, migrated to Australia from Scotland in 1989. He joined Jones Dental in 1999, providing friendly, relaxed dental care for families for over 20 years. With a focus on cosmetic and restorative dentistry, he maintains lifelong relationships with his patients. Outside of work, Greig enjoys outdoor pursuits and is passionate about his family, animals, and cooking.

Dr Michael Wood

Dr Michael Wood graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1981 and started work in south coastal Albany. He moved to Denmark (WA) in 1984 then to the Goldfields city of Kalgoorlie in 1987, where he stayed until 2001.

The next move was to Wollongong, where he has been very happy with Jones Dental ever since. He loves his motorcycles and is a Holden tragic. He was ecstatic to become a grandfather in 2009. Janet has been the love of his life since 1996.

Dr Celia Jones

Dr Celia Jones is a born and bred Wollongong girl. Her first degree was in Dental Hygiene from the University of Otago in New Zealand, practising for several years as a Hygienist in Sydney and Wollongong. She travelled extensively before undertaking a

degree in Dentistry from Sydney University and has been working at Jones Dental since graduating. Jones Dental is fortunate to have Celia become a full partner in 2015 and we welcome her aboard.

Dr Heath Robertson

Dr Heath Robertson graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand in 1987. Since graduation he has practised Dentistry in Auckland (NZ), London (UK), Sydney and Wollongong in Australia.

Dr Edith Au

Dr Edith Au is a University of Sydney dental school graduate. Originally from the Sutherland Shire, Edith has worked in general practice in Sydney and the Illawarra and now calls Wollongong home. When she is not working she is often hiking various trails in nearby national forests or spending time in the water trying to surf. Edith enjoys practicing general dentistry and has a particular interest in paediatric dentistry and orthodontics.

Lauren Dempsey

Lauren, a University of Sydney graduate (2014), holds certificates III and IV in Dental Nursing. With years of experience, she excels at Jones Dental, prioritizing children’s comfort during dental visits. As an Oral Health Therapist, she provides comprehensive dental care for individuals of all ages, focusing on hygiene and therapy services.

Beyza Bodur

Beyza graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral
Health (Hygiene & Therapy) in 2020. She started her career working at a general dental practice during her studies. Since then, she has been
dedicated to gaining more experience and knowledge in her field.

As an oral health therapist, Beyza values patient education. She ensures her patients know how to maintain their oral hygiene and smiles. She always strives to make clients feel happy, relaxed, and as comfortable as possible during their appointments. She loves putting a smile on everyone’s faces!

Whilst not at work, Beyza enjoys spending time baking and catching up
with friends.

Carla Gualtier

Carla graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2018 with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy. On graduating Carla has worked in both private and not-for-profit dental clinics. Carla has been a member of the Jones. Dental team since 2022 providing her valued patients with hygiene and restorative treatment to children and adults.

Carla worked as a dental assistant while studying another degree, she
enjoyed seeing patients’ smiles so much she decided to become an Oral Health Therapist. Carla likes to bring kindness and calmness to dental treatment and is passionate about promoting dental and general health.

Carla enjoys keeping up with current dental education and research.
On the side she loves learning about different cultures, especially their
foods, and spending time relaxing at the beach or with her dog.
